Over the past few days, the rumor mill has been churning about the potential trade of Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray. With the Nov. 4 trade deadline slowly approaching, these rumors picked up steam on Thursday after reporter Darren Urban reported that the quarterback was unavailable during the team's media availability.

The Cardinals had drafted Murray with the first overall pick during the 2019 NFL draft. He was immediately named as the team's QB1, helping them to a 5-10-1 record and tallying 3,722 yards and 20 TDs passing.

In July 2022, the quarterback agreed to a five-year contract extension worth $230.5 million with the Carindals. So far, Murray has recorded 20,460 yards and 121 TDs passing in seven seasons.
This year, he was once again named as the team's starting quarterback. However, he injured his foot during their 22-21 loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 5. This sidelined him for the last two games, while Jacoby Brissett took over as his replacement.
Kyler Murray is expected to return to the field during the team's Week 9 game against the Dallas Cowboys as they attempt to end their five-game losing streak. In five games that he played, the quarterback tallied 962 yards and six TDs passing.

On Thursday, rookie wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. shared his honest thoughts about Kyler Murray and the impact of his presence on the offense amid reports about his return on Monday.
"Yeah obviously, he has the running ability to extend those plays," Harrison said. "They definitely puts a factor of defense especially when a quarterback runs, that's a threat. "They were reading one person, that takes one guy out on the run a little bit. So, now we've seen in the past games he can extend the play like no other quarterback. So if he plays, he brings that to the table.Murray participated in Thursday's practice in a limited fashion. Both he and Jacoby Brissett took reps with the team's starting pass catchers. Coach Jonathan Gannon just said "yeah" when questioned whether the two-time Pro Bowler will play on Monday.
