Trey Yesavage met the moment — and then some.

The Blue Jays’ rookie right-hander struck out 12 Dodgers over seven brilliant innings to lead Toronto to a 6-1 win in Game 5 of the World Series on Wednesday night at Dodger Stadium. Toronto is now one win away from its first title in 32 years.

Yesavage allowed just one run and three hits, outpitching Dodgers lefty Blake Snell, who yielded five earned runs over 6 2/3 innings.
