Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow won the AFC Offensive Player of the Week award after helping his team to a 45-21 win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 16 on Sunday. Burrow went 25 of 32 passes for 305 yards with four touchdowns to cap off a sensational game.

On Wednesday, Burrow was asked about his feelings on winning the Offensive Player of the Week amid a tough season for Cincinnati.

“Yeah, I played well," Burrow said. "Cool. I've done that a lot. It's good to get a win and play well and find some happiness.”

A few weeks ago, Burrow expressed his frustrations after the Bengals were eliminated from playoff contention. There were some who believed that the Cincinnati QB might have hinted at leaving the franchise.

Last week, Burrow clarified that his comments were not aimed at the franchise but rather stemmed from his mindset and football in general.

Burrow suffered a turf toe injury in Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He missed nine games amid his recovery.

When Burrow returned, Cincinnati had a 3-8 record. He has a 2-2 record since returning as the Bengals' QB1 following his injury.

Joe Burrow's Bengals (5-10) will face the Arizona Cardinals (3-12) in Week 17 of the 2025 NFL season on Sunday. The game will kick off at 1 p.m. ET from Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The Bengals will look to finish the final stretch of the season on a high note. Meanwhile, the Cardinals are on a seven-game losing streak.

Burrow has completed 120 of 189 passes this season for 1,268 yards with 12 touchdowns and four interceptions. He has also rushed for 22 yards on nine attempts.
