Huge setback for popular stars just ahead of AEW Full Gear

AEW is set to host its Full Gear pay-per-view this weekend from Newark, New Jersey, at the Prudential Centre. The show is set to feature some big matches, and many top talents are advertised for it. However, just days ahead of the big event, popular stars faced a huge loss outside of All Elite Wrestling.

Kevin Knight and Speedball Bailey faced Mascara Dorado & Neon at CMLL Viernes Espectacular at Arena Mexico in Mexico City. Knight and Bailey are set to compete in the Casino Gauntlet match for the inaugural AEW National Championship at Full Gear. Therefore, this match was supposed to be a must-win situation for the JetSpeed to create momentum for the pay-per-view.

At CMLL Viernes Espectacular, Knight and Bailey suffered a loss against El Sky Team in a 2 out of 3 falls match. It was a spectacular battle between the two talented tag teams, where both teams managed to secure one victory over each other. However, in the last few minutes, Dorado delivered a beautiful 'Shooting Star Press' to pin Kevin Knight and take away the win.

Kevin Knight broke his silence following his recent loss ahead of AEW Full Gear

JetSpeed's recent loss against El Sky Team has certainly destroyed their momentum ahead of All Elite Wrestling's Full Gear. Following this major loss, Kevin Knight broke his silence to address their defeat and their next step in professional wrestling.

Taking to X, Knight said that he is looking to create a big impact in his next opportunity. He expressed optimism for his upcoming Casino Gauntlet match for the inaugural AEW National Championship.

Moreover, the Gauntlet match will also feature stars like Ricochet and Bobby Lashley as well who are determined to become the new champion in All Elite Wrestling. Only time will tell what is in store for JetSpeed from here on in the company.
