How to watch Venice vs. El Camino Real in CIF-L.A. City Section high school baseball championship

As usual, the L.A. City Section Open Division baseball championship is can't-miss viewing.

Despite a record discrepancy due to slight differences in strength of schedule, El Camino Real (22-8) and Venice (28-2) appear to be as evenly-matched as possible on paper. And they will duke it out at none other than Dodger Stadium for a title.

Both teams have lost just one game against City Section competition. Venice lost a non-league battle with San Pedro earlier this month, and Elco was blown out 9-0 by Birmingham on Mar. 12 in its West Valley League opener before blanking Birmingham twice later in league play and winning 4-3 against the Patriots in the section semifinals. Venice's only other loss was to Wiseburn - Da Vinci in 11 innings in March, and El Camino Real otherwise mopped up against intra-section foes despite some close losses to strong Southern Section and Central Section competition in previous months.

Among the top players to watch on Venice are SS Daniel Quiroz, P Noel Moreno, and two-way star P/OF Canon King. For the Royals, look out for the pitching tandem of Luke Howe and Devin Gonor and a particularly deep, balanced lineup at the plate.
