Ex-Bills 1st-round pick trashes Buffalo with wild announcement

5 hours ago 3

The Buffalo Bills parted ways with Kaiir Elam this offseason.

They traded the former first-round pick to the Dallas Cowboys.

Elam never latched on in Buffalo after his time at the University of Florida.

He was quickly leapfrogged on the depth chart by sixth-rounder Christian Benford from his own draft class and never made it back out in front.

He told reporters this week that being in Dallas is a lot different than Buffalo.

"I feel like the energy here is something I've never been a part of," Elam said. "I love the enthusiasm, and also I would just say the energy from the coaching staff, they actually make you feel like they care, and that's something that's very exciting."

Elam had previously accused the Bills of putting him "in the back seat."

Seems like there's probably another side to this whole story.

And besides, gossip isn't key and isn't good.

Elam should focus on getting things right with the Cowboys, while the Bills are surely not worried at all about what Elam might have to say.

A new season is coming, and Buffalo's defensive backs are ready for the challenge. They just won't have Elam among them anymore.
