Only the best teams remain in the Maryland boys and girls high school lacrosse playoffs. It's time for the semifinals.
Following the quarterfinals, there are eight boys teams and eight girls teams left in the brackets. There are four classes for each side, so there will be eight total champions celebrating their titles at the end of the season.
The semifinals will take place on Friday, May 16, and Saturday, May 17, with the championship games scheduled to be played next week. While teams will play semifinal games on a handful of fields across the state, the final matchups will be held at Mustang Stadium on Stevenson University's campus.
