Angelina Jolie has arrived.

The actress hit the Cannes Film Festival 2025 red carpet on Friday, looking radiant in an embroidered strapless gown at the premiere of “Eddington,” which stars Emma Stone, Austin Butler, Pedro Pascal, Joaquin Phoenix and more.

Jolie, 49, chose a Brunello Cucinelli made-to-measure look made entirely of cashmere and silk and covered in sequins.

There’s no telling what such a unique piece might cost, as the Italian luxury brand is known for its out-of-this-world pricing and luxury textiles.

Jolie completed her look with Chopard jewelry, wearing a diamond necklace with a pear-shaped center stone and matching earrings.

The A-lister held hands and posed with Marie Colomb and Finn Bennett as well as Chopard co-president Caroline Scheufele; she was named godmother of this year’s Trophée Chopard Award, and will present it to the young actors at the festival.

Jolie will offer the young stars guidance through the year in her role as godmother, per WWD. Previous winners have included Florence Pugh, Anya Taylor-Joy and John Boyega, while past mentors include Demi Moore, Robert DeNiro, Julianne Moore, Sean Penn and more.

The last time Jolie attended the French film festival was in 2011, when she was accompanied by then-boyfriend Brad Pitt.

These days, the “Maleficent” actress is more entrenched in the fashion industry, having launched her own line, Atelier Jolie, in 2023. It’s an artist’s collective with a brick-and-mortar spot in New York City that hosts classes and more.

She often wears Atelier Jolie designs on the red carpet and in magazine shoots, but it appears she went for a different designer look at Cannes.

We can’t wait to see what this fairy godmother wears next.
