Blue Protocol’s Friendship Level sounds like it would just involve grinding Friendship Points. Interestingly enough, that’s both simultaneously true, and also not true. While it does involve farming Friendship Points, there’s a bit more to it than that. You may not even know that Friendship Levels are even a thing in the game, because the UI for it is just a tiny icon in one screen of the game.
However, if you’re looking to pick up some cool Badges, Avatar Frames, and even some extra Friendship Points, you need to increase your Friendship Level. Here’s what we know about this system.
How to increase your Friendship Level in Blue Protocol
Blue Protocol’s Friendship Level system is exactly what you’d expect it to be, because it requires you to play content with your friends. You’ve probably noticed while doing group content in Blue Protocol, people may sometimes randomly invite you to be friends. Now, that might be because you were the best Frost Mage they’ve ever seen, but it’s more likely that they’re trying to grind Friendship Levels.
Just click this little icon here to see how many Friendship Points you've earned (Image via A Plus)In order to increase your Friendship Level in Blue Protocol, you need to group up with people that are on your friends list and vice versa, and do dungeons, explore the world, and collect items together. Doing content with people on your friends list (that also have you on theirs) will give you points towards your Friendship Level. Here’s the downside, though.
It’s a very long grind. There’s a 200 point cap a day, and simply hitting level 1 requires 1,000 points. Each level’s requirement goes up, too, so it’s going to take a long time to get to the end of this grind. What that means for you is that you’ll want quite a few friends on your list, so you’ll always have someone to do content with.
If you want to see where this is all tracked, go to your Friends List in-game (Menu, Friends), and click the little handshake icon circled above. This will bring you to the Friendship Level UI. This will bring you to the screen that shows your Total Friendship. Total Friendship is the sum of all Friendship Points gained with people on your friends list. The game also highlights that deleting friends won’t reduce your friendship points, so that’s a positive, at least.
That 200 point daily cap is a rough choice (Image via A Plus)It’s going to be a frustrating grind, but knowing how it functions should make it better. What that means for you, is if you want to get Friendship Levels in Blue Protocol, you’re going to have to be social, make friends, and do stuff together in game. There’s no real easy way to do it other than do content with friends in-game, such as grind for better gear together in Chaotic Realm runs.
