How to get Impidimp in Pokemon GO, and can it be shiny?

Impidimp in Pokemon GO debuts during the Wild Area 2025. It can be found in many ways during the event. It is a Fairy- and Dark-type from Gen VIII. It evolves Morgrem when it is fed 25 Candy and into Grimmsnarl when Morgrem is fed 100 Candy.

Wild encounters

Impidimp can be found in the wild during the event, both in the in-person event at Nagasaki (November 7, 8, and 9, 2025) and during the global event (November 15 and 16, 2025). The chances of finding the creature will increase in Cloudy and Foggy weather.

Eggs

Impidimp will also be featured in 5 KM Eggs during the Wild Area 2025 event and beyond. These Eggs can be acquired by spinning PokeStops.

Research

Field Research and Special Research during the Wild Area event can give you Impidimp as a reward.

Trade

If you are unable to catch Impidimp on your own, you can ask an in-game friend to trade one with you. However, note that it will count as a Special Trade, so do it with someone you have a high level of friendship with.
