The Las Vegas Raiders continue to slump as Pete Carroll's team suffered a 10-7 loss against the Denver Broncos on Thursday. It was the AFC West team's seventh loss of the season, dropping to a 2-7 record.
Although the Broncos have been one of the most consistent teams in the league this season, Denver looked far from its best in Thursday's slugfest. Despite their sluggishness, Carroll's team failed to capitalize on Denver's offensive slump.
Social media was flooded with memes after the Raiders' latest setback.

Pete Carroll has been under fire for the team's series of underwhelming performances. The veteran coach's decision to back quarterback Geno Smith despite his struggles this season has also drawn criticism from fans.
Raiders coach Pete Caroll highlighted lack of protection after Broncos defeat
The Broncos registered their seventh consecutive win after a 10-7 slugfest on Thursday. Although Denver boasts one of the best defenses in the league, Pete Carroll expected his team to be more aggressive against the Broncos, who were without their star cornerback, Patrick Surtain II.
"We had a plan," Carroll said after the game. "But we got to protect to get it done. And that was...it was hard."While Geno Smith has been disappointing this season, the veteran quarterback didn't have much protection on Thursday, as two of his interceptions were caused due to poor play from the Raiders' running backs.
The Raiders are firmly placed at the bottom of the AFC West with a 2-7 record and their latest run of three consecutive defeats isn't suggesting a bright end to their season.
