Jack Schlossberg shared a subtle support to his sister Tatiana Schlossberg after her terminal cancer diagnosis, days after she shared the news with the public. On Saturday, November 2, Tatiana shared in an essay published by The New Yorker that she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in May 2024 after giving birth to her second baby.

And while she has undergone several treatments since then, her doctor has reportedly told her that she only has a year left to live. Shortly after the essay was published, Jack Schlossberg showed his support for her sister. He shared a photo of a road and a short message in a separate post, seemingly in response to his sister's health update, writing:

"Life is short—let it rip."

Jack Schlossberg also shared the same message in a separate post with a photo of the sky. He also posted a screenshot of Tatiana's A Battle with My Blood essay on his Instagram Stories and a link to the article, along with a screenshot of the first paragraph.

Jack and Tatiana are John F. Kennedy's grandchildren from his daughter, Caroline Kennedy, former United States Ambassador to Australia. She married Edwin Schlossberg in 1986, and they have three kids together: Jack, Tatiana, and Rose.

Jack Schlossberg announced that he's running for Congress before his sister Tatiana's terminal cancer reveal

JFK's grandson, Jack Schlossberg, announced on November 11 that he will run for the US Congress next year. He is running to fill the Manhattan seat vacated by longtime Democrat Jerry Nadler, who said in September that he will not run for reelection next year. In Schlossberg's campaign video shared on social media, he said:

"This district should have a representative who can harness the creativity, energy, and drive of this district and translate that into political power in Washington."

He also criticized President Donald Trump in a video shared on his Instagram, calling the US President "a dangerous man" who is in control of all three branches of government." Because of that, he said that it's a "constitutional crisis' and that there is a "crisis at every level."

Jack Schlossberg also accused Trump of stripping US citizens of their civil rights and is trying to silence his critics. According to Reuters, Schlossberg first announced his bid for public office in an email sent to his supporters, touching on his famed ancestry. He reportedly said that he was inspired by the example his family has set.

Speaking of family, two weeks after the announcement of his candidacy, his sister Tatiana made the explosive update about her terminal cancer diagnosis. She said that her doctors told her that she couldn't be cured by a "standard course" and had to undergo months of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant.

She reportedly got the transplant after giving birth to her second baby and underwent chemotherapy at home. She also joined a clinical trial for certain blood cancers. However, in January, she said that her doctors had only given her a year to live.

Tatiana also thanked her husband, as well as her parents and her siblings, Jack and Rose, whom she said had been raising her children and sat with her in hospital rooms every day for the last year and a half.
