On Friday, October 31, netizens called out the alleged lack of ticket sales for BTS' Jin's upcoming encore concert in South Korea at the Incheon Manhak Main Stadium. The concert is scheduled to take place on October 31 at 7 PM KST and on November 1 at 6:30 PM KST.

The encore concert was recently announced at the beginning of October after the end of the idol's solo world tour, RUNSEOKJIN_EP. TOUR in Amsterdam on August 10. Given that it was a surprise announcement, fans had less than a month to prepare for the concert and purchase the tickets, thereby leading to the many unsold spots at the idol's encore concert venue.

However, when this news landed on the internet, several netizens stated that the lack of ticket sales was due to the idol's alleged low popularity and fame as a soloist. Many even speculated that the BTS member's commercial success through his solo discography might've been fabricated, given the turnout for his encore concert was much lower than expected.

The speculations further increased as people learned that the age group that made the most purchases for the idol's encore concert was people in their 40s. Thereby, they further pushed their claim that Jin doesn't hold much fame among the young crowd. As people continued to spread claims that the idol has allegedly lost his popularity and hype in South Korea, many fans came to his defense and explained the situation.

They not only reasoned that the lack of sales was due to a surprise announcement, but also proved netizens' claims wrong by stating that the idol sold out many solo concerts with his international tour stops. Therefore, fans criticized netizens for spreading unnecessary misinformation and malicious rumours about the BTS member. Here are a few fan reactions regarding the same:

"He sold out every concert internationally, became one of the top soloists, and you call him a flop because ONE show in Korea didn’t sell out?? The logic is insane" said a fan

He sold out every concert internationally, became one of the top soloists, and you call him a flop because ONE show in Korea didn’t sell out?? The logic is insane

More fans and netizens criticized people for their alleged attempt to bring down and spread rumors regarding the BTS member's ticket sales for his solo world tour, RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR.

People are so desperate to see a BTS member flop when he sold out every single show internationally. One of the biggest solo tours ever (kpop) but one unsold concert in Korea is what you call a flop? He literally added those dates last minute 💀

its literally a surprise encore w short notice bighit not even lifting a finger to promote it at all these toy hate trains on him for the past days will never push through and stick coz a short world tour still have many first-to records than ur faves

Actually this is because Hybe purposely didn’t promoted it . Something is happening and I wouldn’t be surprised Jin is leaving

On the other hand, some people also stated the information was wrong, and that the idol's encore tickets had already begun to sell out.

Jin's concert is awesome. Its not for regular kpoopies and imbeciles like u all. Jin's level is higher. His songs are above kpoop. fu all dumb haters!

Stop spreading false info! This is a reseller site, Day 1 is already sold out, and there are 20,000+ people in the queue every single day!

B*tch why are you lying, the concert is sold out, did you even check the tickets?

BTS' Jin's solo world tour achievements as RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR makes major historical milestones

Following the release of his second studio album, BTS' Jin announced his first solo world tour, RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, which kick-started in June 2025 and ended in August of the same year. The tour made stops in several cities, including Osaka, Dallas, Newark, London, and Amsterdam.

Following the same, the idol made history as the first Asian soloist to have a tour with over $46.5 million gross and 217k attendance within one month. This also led to him bagging the ninth rank on Billboard's Top Tours in the July 2025 chart. He also set a new record for the venue, Honda Center in Anaheim, after selling out both nights of the same weekend.

He also sold over 100,000 tickets in the US with just 8 shows, which is fewer concerts compared to other solo tours from the BTS members. Additionally, many also appreciated and commended the idol for his unique and interactive touring style, which included short games and events in between the concerts.

Therefore, many fans have been hoping for more solo schedules and performances from the idol in the future.
