Hank Haney has picked Tony Romo as the best golf swinger among NFL stars. Tiger Woods' ex-coach made his choice after observing the swings of sixteen football stars, featuring Travis Kelce, Josh Allen, and Aaron Rodgers.

Hank Haney is a veteran golf coach who has coached the likes of Tiger Woods and Mark O'Meara. The ace golfer won 31 titles together, including six major championships. The veteran coach is also known for his golf takes on social media, which receive a lot of attention.

Recently, Golf Digest made a compilation of sixteen NFL stars playing golf. The video featured the likes of Josh Allen, Jason Kelce, Travis Kelce, Dwight Freeney, Larry Fitzgerald, George Kittle, Aaron Rodgers, Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Andrew Whitworth, Brian Urlacher, Trevor Lawrence, Derek Carr, Kyle Juszczyk, Tony Romo, and Adam Thielen.

In response to the question of the best swing among the NFL stars, Hank Haney had one name in his mind.

"Tony Romo," he replied.

The $80 million worth (as per Celebrity Net Worth) former Dallas Cowboys quarterback has played in multiple golf tournaments and is among the exceptional non-pro golfers. He has also won the American Century Championship multiple times and has played the pre-qualifier round of Q-School several times.

"Impossible to sugarcoat this" - Hank Haney calls Brooks Koepka's exit a 'big blow' to LIV

Following Brooks Koepka's LIV Golf exit, many pundits made their analysis on the future of the league. Hank Haney labelled it as a big blow to the Saudi-backed circuit.

"Impossible to sugarcoat this, it’s a big blow to LIV, he’s a big name," he wrote.

Impossible to sugarcoat this, it’s a big blow to LIV, he’s a big name.

For the uninitiated, Koepka bid adieu to LIV Golf after playing all four seasons. The five-time champion cited family reasons for his shock exit from the PIF-sponsored league. He was among the first signings for the league, as well as one of the biggest names on the circuit. In his four seasons with the Saudi-based circuit, he won five times and once held the record for most wins in the league.

However, the 35-year-old golfer didn't have a great season this year, as he made just two top-tens and finished 34th in the individual standings. Besides, he also missed the cut in three of the four majors, something which had never happened so far in his career.

With the PGA Tour having a one-year suspension on players leaving LIV, it will be interesting to see where Koepka is headed for the 2026 season.
