Anticipation for the unification bout for the ONE featherweight kickboxing world title between Superbon and Masaaki Noiri intensifies by the day. Both have expressed their readiness to make things happen on fight night.
The two noted strikers headline ONE 173 on Nov. 16 at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan. It is for supremacy in the featherweight kickboxing lane, where Superbon and Noiri rule as reigning king and interim champion, respectively.
ONE Championship further whetted the excitement of fight fans for the marquee showdown by releasing an electrifying hype video on Instagram that has the protagonists brandishing their respective causes and motivations.

Superbon will be making his first defense of the ONE featherweight kickboxing world title since reascending to the summit of the division earlier this year. He, however, is coming off a defeat in his last match in January, losing by TKO to fellow Thai superstar Tawanchai PK Saenchai in his bid to add the featherweight Muay Thai belt to his collection.
His opponent, Noiri, meanwhile is on a roll, winning back-to-back matches to turn things around in his ONE Championship campaign after a slow start. His latest victory was also against Tawanchai in March, winning by TKO to claim the interim featherweight belt.

Superbon is expecting a highly competitive match against Masaaki Noiri in their unification fight at ONE 173.
He believes they both enter the Circle in the Japan event on equal footing and that anything can happen on D-Day itself.
Superbon told ONE Championship in a pre-fight interview:
“Being up there in the ring with your opponent, no one is really the underdog. The key is who is better prepared, more ready, better planned for each moment up there.”The unification bout between Superbon and Noiri is one of five world title matches set to take place at ONE 173, which is the second live on-ground event of ONE Championship in Japan this year.
