The Denver Nuggets had a tough blow to their roster on Monday after Nikola Jokic went down with a knee injury against the Miami Heat. He headed to the locker room and never returned to action. The organization then revealed that the three-time MVP sustained a hyperextended left knee, which would be reassessed in four weeks.
Within the four weeks that Jokic won't be with the team, they'll face serious competition. They will continue their tough seven-game road trip on Wednesday agastin the Toronto Raptors to end 2025.
Fans also noticed that Denver will face teams like the Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, LA Lakers and Detroit Pistons.

Jamal Murray reacted to Nikola Jokic's injury after the Nuggets-Heat game
Nuggets fans held their breath for a while when Nikola Jokic went down on the floor, grabbing his knee. His co-star, Jamal Murray, had immediate, genuine concern for the Serbian star. After the team's 147-123 loss, Murray revealed his reaction to the knee injury.
“I mean, I just wish for the best. The first thing that went through my mind was, I hope it’s not what I had,” said Murray. “So as long as that’s not the equation, then obviously it’s part of the game. But we never want to see it happen. I’ll talk to him soon.”Missing him is a significant blow to the Nuggets. Murray recognizes Jokic's importance, as he's involved in almost everything they do. But with his absence, the Canadian star believes that it's time for the rest of the team to step up.
It will be a challenging four weeks for Denver, but at least it wasn't a devastating setback.
