Best teams for Ye Shunguang in Zenless Zone Zero

Ye Shunguang has been officially released today as the latest S Rank Attack agent in Zenless Zone Zero version 2.5. She is a disciple of Yunkui Summit who mastered the art of the Qingming sword and was also awared the title of Void Hunter. Just like the Void Hunter Hoshimi Miyabi, she too has a special Physical attribute known as Honed Edge.

When it comes to teams, Ye Shunguang is flexible who works well with almost any Stun or Support agents in Zenless Zone Zero. That said, some teams do stand out more than others and help maximize her overall damage and consistency. Here's some team compositions you can refer to.

1. Ye Shunguang, Dialyn, Zhao

This is the strongest and premium team composition for Ye Shunguang as per Zenless Zone Zero version 2.5. Here, Dialyn as a Stun agent plays a key role by building her Positive Review meter and granting free ultimates for Ye Shunguang during combat. This also helps Ye Shunguang to enter her secondary form in her Ultimate called the Enlightened Mind state.

On the other hand, Zhao works as the best off field as a Defense character but acts more like a support. She can activate Ether Veil through EX Special Attack or Quick Assists and even grants 3 points of Qingming Sword Force to Ye Shunguang which prompts her to enter the Enlightened Mind state instantly. She provides upto 1,000 ATK buff and 40% damage bonus through her Ether Veil uptime.

This team focuses on strong buffs while allowing both Dialyn and Ye Shunguang more field time. Dialyn can stun enemies faster thanks to Astra Yao’s Quick Assist buffs, while Ye Shunguang uses the extended on-field time to build Qingming Sword Force points and Decibel points.

Additionally, Astra provides up to 1,200 ATK buff along with a 20% damage bonus and 25% Crit DMG via her buffs. This setup is an ideal alternative for players who don't have Zhao.

1. Jufufu

Jufufu can be a quite comfortable choice to play, whether paired with Zhao or Astra Yao in the same team comp. The only downside is that her overall stun and buffs uptime is slower when compared to Dialyn.

2. Trigger

Trigger on the other hand can apply her Stun damage multiplier debuff consistently but her buffs have a very short duration. You will have to be mindful of the timing to deal damage with Ye Shunguang during the Stun window.

3. Pulchra

Pulchra is another comfortable choice if her Mindscape 6 is unlocked, which can give further damage bonus to not just the DPS but everyone in the team. Only downside is that her stun windows are difficult to trigger when compared to other options.
