The future of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is one that many are eagerly awaiting to see a resolution.
Will he play on in 2026? Or will the future Hall of Famer ride off into the sunset with Taylor Swift?
Those are the two options, and for most of Chiefs Kingdom, seeing No. 87 run around again is something they want to see.
But not everyone does.
ESPN's Mike Tannenbaum offered his thoughts on what he would do with Kelce on SportsCenter.
"I would move on from Travis Kelce," Tannenbaum said. "When you're in the front office, you have to project what a player is going to do, not what they've done. Travis Kelce is a first ballot Hall of Famer, but when you watch him and make an honest and sober evaluation of his 2025 performance, clearly his best days are behind him.
"If I was Kansas City, I would make the right, albeit difficult, decision, move on from Travis Kelce."

Chiefs won't "push" Kelce out
Head coach Andy Reid has stated that the Chiefs will wait and see what Kelce decides, not the other way around.
And Tannenbaum, a former general manager in the NFL, has made it clear he thinks Kelce's best is behind him, and at 36 years old, that is low-hanging fruit.
No, Kelce isn't the player he once was, but he had a better season in 2025 than he did in 2024, and he led the Chiefs in yards, targets, receptions, and was joint-first in TDs. So, the production is still there.
Should the Chiefs force Kelce's decision and move on? That is quite the conversation starter.
