Tyler Reddick declined to address questions Tuesday about a viral Victory Lane moment involving his 6-year-old son and team co-owner Michael Jordan following the Daytona 500.

With debate continuing across social media, TMZ Sports attempted to ask Reddick about the post-race interaction between his son, Beau, and Jordan during Sunday’s celebration. Before Reddick could respond, a representative stepped in.

“We’re not going to talk about that,” the representative said, ending the exchange.

A clip circulating online shows Jordan, who co-owns 23XI Racing, appearing to playfully grab or tap Beau amid the chaotic celebration. The moment sparked mixed reactions, with some viewers describing it as awkward while others characterized it as harmless in the frenzy of victory lane.

Another video angle appears to show ice going down Beau’s shirt during the celebration, with MJ seemingly attempting to intervene moments later.

Jordan has not publicly commented.

Reddick is coming off one of the biggest victories of his career. He picked up his ninth career win by charging through a last-lap crash to secure his first Daytona 500 title. Reddick went winless in 2025 before Sunday’s breakthrough. He joined 23XI in the 2023 season and replaced Kurt Busch in the No. 45 car.

For now, Reddick appears intent on keeping the focus on the race in Atlanta rather than revisiting a viral moment from Sunday.
