President Donald Trump drew widespread attention on social media Saturday after a brief hiccup during the pregame coin toss at the 126th Army-Navy game.

Trump participated in the ceremony ahead of kickoff, marking the second consecutive year he has attended the annual rivalry. He arrived about an hour before the game aboard Marine One, flying from Washington and circling M&T Bank Stadium before landing nearby, according to the Washington Post.

Trump took the field shortly before kickoff to a positive reception from cadets and midshipmen. During the ceremony, he saluted while facing the combined chorus performing the national anthem and then stepped forward to flip the coin.

The toss briefly went awry, prompting a lighthearted moment that quickly spread online, with clips circulating across multiple platforms. Trump remained on the field afterward, shaking hands with both team captains.

Saturday marked at least the seventh Army-Navy game Trump has attended, including appearances as president-elect in 2016 and several times during his first term.

Army (6-5) and No. 22 Navy (9-2) are playing for the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy, which Navy won last year.
