Grow a Garden Christmas Update Part 2 guide

The Christmas Event in Grow a Garden just got a new update, bringing along new plants, pets, gifts, and more, to keep the Holiday spirit shining. While the core gimmick is still about gifting other community members, which fans will be familiar with, there are some new things to note.

What's new in the Grow a Garden Christmas Event update?

As it should be clear, it will occasionally snow during this Christmas event, applying the Snowy mutation to plants in a player's garden. These, alongside any other Christmas-themed mutation, can then be submitted to an all-new gift system at the center of the map.

Here are all the Christmas mutations in Grow a Garden:

• Chilled
• Frozen
• Subzero
• Glacial
• Arctic
• Snowy
• Snowfall
• Peppermint
• Ornamented
• Eggnog
• Blizzard

While the previous mechanic allowed players to submit to obtain a random reward, this time, things are a little different: Every 10 minutes, a different gift will spawn, and submitting the specified amount of plants will reward the player with that gift one time. While this drastically reduces the amount of farmable rewards, the fruit submission requirements are much lower, too.

Additionally, the long wait between gifts means players must keep some plants with mutations for the next round. On the other hand, there are other activities to consider, too. The main highlight remains the Advent Calendar, also viewable by talking to Presentina the Elf at the center of the map.

This is a daily rewards system where players will get the listed reward for completing the Daily Quest for that day. Daily Quests involve completing a series of requirements, like harvesting a certain number of plants. Note that missed days cannot be redeemed unless players spend Robux.

Aside from that, new additions are here. The following new plants have been added with this Christmas Event update:

• Christmas Cracker Seed
• Gumdrop Seed
• Peppermint Pop Seed

Fans can also get the following new Pets in Grow a Garden while this event lasts.

• Reindeer
• Nutcracker
• Yeti
• Ice Golem

Then there are new goodies. Some of these are items with different effects available for purchase via the Santa's Stash gift shop, while others are Gifts that offer one among a set of random rewards akin to a lootbox
