Kansas will take a trip to San Diego for its first-round matchup against Cal Baptist.
The Jayhawks managed to land on the No. 4 line despite a lopsided loss to Houston in the semifinal round of the Big 12 Tournament. All eyes will be on freshman star Darryn Peterson, who is averaging 19.8 points per game this season but has struggled with health issues.
Cal Baptist secured a berth in the NCAA Tournament by beating Utah Valley in the WAC championship game. Dominique Daniels Jr. has been leading the way for the Lancers, posting 23.2 points per game.
Kansas will enter this contest as a heavy favorite, but Bill Self's squad can't take Cal Baptist lightly.
