'Does anyone want this Browns job?’ Pelissero reveals the bizarre reason coaches are snubbing Cleveland

The Cleveland Browns head coach interview process has been revealed and is being mocked by the national media.

It turns out that GM Andrew Berry is treating candidates more like students applying to an Ivy league university than someone looking to become the new 'leader of men' on the Cleveland sidelines.

Speaking on The Rich Eisen Show, NFL Insider Tom Pelissero exposed the team's unorthodox methods, revealing what potential hires are being asked to complete between interview rounds. “They are a data-driven operation in Cleveland... You're talking about taking a personality test. You're talking about writing an essay. You're talking about completing homework assignments,” Pelissero told a stunned Rich Eisen.

The reaction was immediate. Eisen questioned the logic, asking, "Does anyone want to be the head coach?!" as reports surfaced that top-tier candidates like Mike McDaniel and Jesse Minter withdrew from consideration after learning of the academic-style requirements.

Adding to the dysfunction, the Browns are currently in a self-inflicted holding pattern.

Despite moving to second interviews with finalists like Grant Udinski, the team has yet to comply with the Rooney Rule, meaning they are legally barred from making a hire until they host the required in-person minority interviews.

For a franchise already struggling with its reputation, this leaked "homework" scandal makes the Browns look less like an NFL team and more like a high-pressure testing center.

Only in Cleveland.
