Saraya's recent return to the wrestling scene garnered major attention. However, she had a personal reason for giving up her AEW theme song during that appearance.

The former WWE Divas Champion left AEW in March 2025 and announced a break from professional wrestling to focus on outside ventures. During that time, she has also been rumored to be making a return to WWE soon. Moreover, at a recent Insane Wrestling Revolution event, she made a surprise appearance and entered to her WWE theme, 'Stars in the Night', further fueling speculation.

However, a recent report by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful on X gave an interesting insight into the former AEW Women's World Champion's recent appearance. He stated that the Anti-Diva's entrance to her WWE theme song was purely a matter of her choice and had no other motive.

"It was confirmed to Fightful that Saraya using her WWE theme didn't have a motive beyond her not wanting to use her ex's song that she used in AEW."

Saraya spoke about making her return to the ring

Saraya revealed in an interview with the Toronto Sun that she would resume training for an in-ring return in January 2026. However, the former WWE star clarified that she would want to make a comeback in her top form.

"I’m gonna get into training in January and we’ll see where that takes me, you know. Because I feel like I do–if I was to ever come back, you know, not saying I am, but if I was to ever come back, I want to be at the top of my game and be wrestling better than I was wrestling back when I was in NXT, you know," she said.

With her recent appearance at the IWR wrestling event and her readiness to begin training, it remains to be seen whether the British wrestler will return as an in-ring performer in 2026.
