Nebraska Volleyball's Laney Choboy recently reacted after Illinois University's middle blocker Kayla Burbage got engaged to Luke Goode. As the Indiana basketball player, Goode took to social media to announce his engagement, Choboy expressed her amazement.

Goode shared a few heartwarming pictures from the proposal, which was set against a serene background on the ocean. While Goode was seen wearing a casual black polo t-shirt with brown trousers, Burbage opted for a mini striped dress. The carousel of pictures showed Goode going down on his knees. He proposed to Burbage with a mesmerising ring that featured a huge oval-shaped diamond. Following the proposal, the couple posed for pictures while taking a walk on the sand against a charming sunrise.

Sharing the pictures on Instagram, Goode wrote:

"Proverbs 18:22: “He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord. Going into the New Years as future Mr. and Mrs. Goode! 🤍💍"

Choboy expressed her astonishment and admiration, writing:

"Omgggg"

After the Nebraska Volleyball's star libero Lexi Rodriguez concluded her collegiate career and started playing for LOVB Omaha in the professional league, Choboy filled her shoes with her remarkable skills. In an interview with Hurrdat Sports, the current Huskers libero expressed her gratitude for having the opportunity and expressed her belief in building upon the legacy.

“I think it’s a huge deal,” Choboy said. “Obviously, Nebraska has a legacy of liberos and big-time liberos too — Justine and Lexi going to play in the Olympics and trying to make the Olympic team. It’s insane to think that I’m in this position now, but I’m just going to continue to have gratitude for this position and be thankful that I’m here and then continue to work and hopefully carry on those legacies.”

The Nebraska Volleyball team had to conclude its NCAA title pursuit after falling short against Texas A&M. The former libero expressed her discontent with the result.
