Throughout the season, the NFL MVP debate has been between Matthew Stafford, Josh Allen and Drake Maye. However, according to ex-quarterback turned analyst Dan Orlovsky, there is another quarterback who is climbing up the ladder as a potential candidate for the coveted award.

On Sunday, Trevor Lawrence led the Jacksonville Jaguars to s 34-20 victory over the No.1-seeded Denver Broncos. In that game, the quarterback completed 23 of 36 passes for 279 yards and four total touchdowns.

Following this performance, Dan Orlovsky made a case for the quarterback, who signed a five-year deal worth $275 million with the team in 2024, as a candidate for this season's MVP award.

"Hi, two weeks left, getting ready to get up. But two weeks left. I love the MVP conversation," Orlovsky said. "But I would say, two weeks left after this weekend, I put Stafford as the frontrunner. After what Drake Maye did last night, down 11 in the fourth quarter thrown for I think over 380. Just huge throws, I would put Drake Maye at No.2.

"I'd probably put Josh Allen at No.3. He had a quiet weekend. I don't think he could get into it, but Trevor Lawrence feels like he's surging into that conversation. But it feels like it's Stafford's to lose with two weeks to go."

Trevor Lawrence had an underwhelming start to this fifth season with the Jaguars. However, the quarterback has shown improvement over the past few games while helping the Jaguars to a six-game winning skid.

So far in 15 games, the quarterback has tallied 3,489 yards and 26 TDs passing while rushing for 322 yards and seven touchdowns rushing.

Dan Orlovsky shares his honest thoughts on the most disappointing team in the NFL this season

Dan Orlovsky did not hesitate in naming the Baltimore Ravens as the most disappointing team this season. Following their 28-24 loss to the Patriots at home, John Harbaugh and his team's playoff hopes are just hanging by a thread.

On Monday's episode of ESPN's "Get Up," Dan Orlovsky heavily criticized the Ravens.

"I think this is the most disappointing team in the NFL this season, and when you're that, something will have to change," Orlosvsky said. "One of the problems is this is far too more often a common occurence where we sit and go like, 'How come Derrick Henry is not getting the ball more?' This team, unequivocally, was the most talented roster roster in the AFC and rightfully so the AFC Super Bowl pick."

The Ravens next face the Packers on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET.
