Anthony recalled having hitting days with Bregman and how he made game plans on iPads, breaking down pitchers and bullpen. Bregman taught him to read pitchers in big games, which has helped him in his career.
"And obviously we want nothing more than for him to be back with us," Anthony said. "But you know, we'll see what happens. But he definitely, you know, kind of instilled that routine into me and that preparation side of things that's, you know, sometimes more important than the physical side. So, yeah, I can't say enough about him."Toronto Blue Jays made a move to add Alex Bregman to their roster plans
Wild Card Series - Boston Red Sox v New York Yankees - Game Two - Source: GettyThe Athletic's Ken Rosenthal reported that the Blue Jays tried to contact Alex Bregman’s agent, Scott Boras, to lure him with a potential contract.
"Ideally, the Jays want to add a left-handed hitter, but either the right-handed Bregman or Bichette would fit their defensive alignment better than Tucker or Cody Bellinger, both of whom bat left," Rosenthal wrote on Saturday.Rosenthal added that Bregman is determined to elevate those around him and inspire teammates both on and off the field.
