Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr teammate Wesley could be on the move when the transfer window reopens in January. The Brazilian had arrived at the club from Corinthians in the summer of 2024.

Wesley, 20, has had modest returns for the Knights of Najd, contributing five goals and four assists in 34 games across competitions. That includes four strikes and an assist in 12 games across four different competitions this season.

The arrival of Kingsley Coman and Joao Felix in the summer has affected Wesley's starting minutes. Despite being contracted to Al Awwal Park till 2028, the Brazilian has been the subject of interest from multiple European clubs, as per sports journalist Nicolo Schira, who tweeted that the player could leave:

"Some European clubs have shown interest in Al-Nassr's winger Wesley (born in 2005). He could leave in January's transfer window."

Wesley has played 18 times with Ronaldo (both players being on the field at the same time), recording a joint goal contribution, with Ronaldo scoring.

As per journalist Sultan Al-Otabi (via World Soccer Talk), Jorge Jesus' side are eyeing Atalanta's Ederson and Zenit St. Petersburg's Gerson to reinforce the Saudi Pro League leaders.

Portugal boss Roberto Martinez has explained why Al-Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo remains one of his key starters despite the legend set to turn 41 in two months.

With 143 strikes in 226 games, Ronaldo is the most prolific goalscorer in men's international football and also its record appearance maker. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner scored five times in as many games in the Selecao's successful qualifying campaign for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Martinez told Marca (as per GOAL) the three tenets on which he selects players in his team and why Ronaldo fits the bill:

"There are three pillars that we constantly analyse: talent, experience, and the attitude he can bring to the Selecao. "That maximum demand he places on himself to be present and help is what allows the captain of the national team to always be on the roster. That hunger to be the best is contagious. 25 goals in 30 games playing as a striker shows that what he does on the field contributes a lot to the national team."

Since Martinez took over the reins of the Portugal national team in January 2023, Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 25 times in 29 games for his national side, winning the UEFA Natons League.
