WWE Superstar Tonga Loa recently took to social media to break his on-screen heel persona to kiss a popular RAW star. The MFT star also sent a message to his wrestling peer. The name in question is Alpha Academy's Otis.
When Solo Sikoa changed his Bloodline to MFT (My Family Tree), it seemed like his team had a solid chance to become one of the most dominant stables in WWE. However, his faction's booking has not been the best in recent times as the fearsome group has been regularly losing in their matches. Tonga Loa has been on the losing end most of the time as the star has only won a single match since July 2025.
Tonga Loa recently took to Instagram to upload a surprisingly out-of-character photo alongside his wrestling peer, Otis. In the pic, Loa can be seen kissing the Alpha Academy member, who was dressed as Santa Claus. In the post's caption, the MFT star wished everyone a Merry Christmas and wrote that he wanted to let everyone know with the picture that Santa was real.
"Letting you all know that Santa Claus is real!!!!! Wishing you, family and friends a wonderful holiday season and Merry Christmas, You Filthy Animals 🎅🏽🎄🙏🏽🎄🎅🏽!!!!!" he wrote.Tonga Loa helped a former WWE star join NJPW
During an August 2025 edition of The Marking Out podcast, former WWE star Sasha Banks (aka Mercedes Mone) revealed that Tonga Loa helped her get in touch with someone in New Japan Pro Wrestling, and just two months later, she debuted in the company.
“We just talked wrestling cause he was in New Japan at the time. And I’m like, ‘Man, I’ve always wanted to go to New Japan.’ And he’s like, ‘You know what? Let me contact you with Rocky.’ I messaged Rocky right away. I texted him like, ‘Hey, I’m really interested in joining New Japan.’ He’s like, ‘Well, sh*t. Okay. Absolutely. Let’s just get it going.’ And just from that text message, just two months later, I signed a contract with New Japan," she said.It remains to be seen what the Triple H-led creative team has planned for Tonga Loa's future as a member of MFT in WWE.
