Conor McGregor is among several UFC A-listers who are vying for a spot on the UFC White House card. 'The Notorious' has now shared a heartfelt request to Dana White, reminiscent of a similar plea he made to the UFC CEO before his MMA mega stardom.
In June 2012, McGregor had just won the Cage Warriors featherweight championship via submission, and the Irishman seized the opportunity to urge White to bring him to the UFC. In a post on X, he wrote:
"When you gonna give an IRISHMAN a crack at the big time @danawhite @UFC, Conor 'The Notorious' McGregor!! #145lbs-K.O-KING,KILLIN EM ALL."'The Notorious' finally made his debut for the world's premier MMA promotion against Marcus Brimage in 2013, kicking off one of the most legendary careers in the history of the sport.

UFC White House is scheduled for Saturday, June 14, and McGregor has repeatedly claimed that he has already signed to fight Michael Chandler on the card. However, White has since confirmed that they would start building the card only by February, and no fights have been made yet.
McGregor last fought at UFC 264 in 2021, where he suffered a leg break. While he was slated to return at the UFC 303 International Fight Week card, a subsequent injury to his toe derailed such plans.
Michael Chandler teases Conor McGregor fight during NYE broadcast
Michael Chandler believes he might very well be fighting Conor McGregor at the White House. 'Iron' has been itching to get his hands on the former two-weight UFC champion since 2023.
Speaking to American comedian Bert Kreischer during CBS' New Year's Eve broadcast, the former three-time Bellator lightweight champion said:
"We can't confirm or deny, but it does sound like I’ll be handing Conor McGregor a good ol’ fashioned passionate, red, white and blue b**t-whooping on the South Lawn of the White House sometime this summer. That’s the plan."Why did you not like this content?
