The Denver Nuggets might be forced to play without their five main player in the game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday. Fresh Jamal Murray concern rocked the Nuggets on New Year's Day after the Canadian point guard was listed on the injury report with a right ankle sprain.

Murray was listed as probable, meaning his status for the Cleveland game will depend on how he feels ahead of tip off. The sharp-shooting guard has been durable and available for his team this season, missing just one out of 33 games.

He led the Nuggets to a fantastic 106-103 victory against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday, with Denver missing four starters. Murray finished the game with 21 points, seven rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block, while shooting 6 of 18 from the floor, including 2 of 5 from beyond the arc.

Apart from Jamal Murray, the Nuggets also listed Julian Strawther as probable due to an illness. He missed the previous game owing to the same issue.

Nikola Jokic, Aaron Gordon, Cam Johnson, Christian Braun and Jonas Valanciunas will continue to remain sidelined. Jokic is out with a left knee injury, Gordon is recovering from a right hamstring strain, Braun is dealing with a left ankle sprain, Johnson is sidelined with a right knee injury and Valanciunas suffered a right calf strain in the previous game.
