Fourth seed Tommy Paul will take on Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in the first round of the Brisbane International 2026.

Paul started 2025 on the right foot, reaching the semifinals in Adelaide and the quarterfinals of the Australian Open. A semifinal in Dallas, and a fourth-round appearance at the Indian Wells Masters, were his next best results during the hardcourt swing.
