Caleb Williams helped the Chicago Bears to a 22-16 overtime victory over the Green Bay Packers last Saturday. This win resulted in the team qualifying for the playoffs for the first time in five years.

Amid all the backlash and criticism that the quarterback received, he played a pivotal role in his team's success. Later on, after the game, Williams took a shot at these critics for questioning his fit with the Bears.

However, on Wednesday, analyst Tyler Johnson criticized Caleb Williams for his postgame comments.

"Let's just be honest about Caleb Williams. ... Coming out of high school, guess where he was ranked amongst quarterbacks. ... Guess who was the No.1 rankeed quarterback from multiple publications. Caleb Williams. ... Then he goes to Oklahoma, takes the job from the guy who's currently in the NFL, follows his coach to the USC and he won the Heisman trophy. "So when they handed him the Heisman, were they saying that you weren't good enough after you were told you were the No.1 quarterback in high school? ... Then you go Pro. ... And you're the first overall pick in the draft. Now how are they telling you, Caleb, that you're not good, when you're the first overall pick? What exactly would they have had to Caleb for them to tell you that they believed in you? ...

This season, Caleb Williams is playing under new head coach and offensive guru Ben Johnson. So far in 15 games, the quarterback has tallied 3,400 yards and 23 TDs passing with six interceptions to his name.

Caleb Williams gets real on his bond with Bears coach Ben Johnson

When the Bears brought in Ben Johnson as Matt Eberflus' replacement, there was a lot of hype surrounding Caleb Williams' development under an offensive guru like him.

However, after Saturday's victory over the Packers, the quarterback shared his honest thoughts on the changing dynamics with his coach over the months.

"Yeah, it took me a while," Williams said. "It took me, you know, thoughout camp, at certain parts you know, felt like our relationship was pretty fragile, fragile at certain points from my perspective, like geez. Like this dude doesn't seem like he like me. He doesn't have to like me. "But at that point also, and to that extent, you start figuring out that that's just him, and he cares so much about the sport, and he cares so much aboutt us. He cares so much about winning."

The Bears next face the 49ers on Sunday at 8:20 p.m. ET.
