Klay Thompson spent Christmas Eve with girlfriend Megan Thee Stallion in his old stomping grounds in the Bay Area. Thompson is back in Golden State for the Dallas Mavericks' Christmas Day game against the Warriors. Fans online were also excited to see Thompson take Stallion for a boat ride.

In a post on her Instagram stories, Megan shared a reel of herself inside Thompson's boat exploring the Pacific Ocean in the San Francisco Bay. They were also with her bulldog, Foe Thee Frenchie. Klay also once had a beloved bulldog named Rocco, who passed away back in May at 13 years old.

Thompson fell in love with the ocean, gaining the nickname "Captain Klay" during his rehabilitation from a torn ACL in 2019 and a torn Achilles tendon in 2020. He stopped for a bit after leaving the Warriors last year to join the Mavericks in free agency.

Fans on social media were elated to see the relationship between Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion blossom in the waters of San Francisco. Thompson even named his boat the "SS Stallion" earlier this year when their romance started.

One of the five games on Christmas is the Dallas Mavericks vs. Golden State Warriors matchup at the Chase Center. Klay Thompson is back in the Bay Area to face his former team, which has made headlines over the past two days.

Draymond Green and Steve Kerr got into it on Tuesday, with the former leaving the bench and going back to the locker room against the Orlando Magic. Nevertheless, Thompson is likely to play against the Warriors despite being on the injury report.

Thompon has been listed as probable due to knee soreness, which caused him to miss their previous game against the Denver Nuggets. He'll likely get upgraded to available before tipoff.

The four-time NBA champion is also expected to receive a standing ovation at the Chase Center. He played for the Warriors from 2011 to 2024, helping the franchise become a dynasty with Steph Curry.
