Bully Ray assures iconic WWE faction will get back together

WWE has given rise to several grand factions over the years that have been loved not just by the WWE Universe but by all pro wrestling fans in general. Interestingly, Bully Ray thinks one such faction could soon reunite. He also said that Triple H should push The Bloodline for another act once again.

Speaking on the Busted Open podcast, one-half of the Dudley Boyz said he doesn’t believe the Stamford-based promotion is done and dusted with the faction. The Hall of Famer said the storyline could pit Roman Reigns against insurmountable odds, which could see him calling his allies for aid.

“I don’t believe that The Bloodline is done, done. Just like in Rock and Roll, there’s always room for a reunion tour, and we can always get The Bloodline back together. Something can happen storyline-wise where somebody presents a big enough threat to Roman Reigns, where you have to call everybody back to the family, back to the table. And you can get The Bloodline reuniting and imagine that shot of all The Bloodline together in the ring, raising up the ones again,” he suggested. [H/T ITR Wrestling]

The Bloodline enjoyed a historic run in WWE with Roman Reigns at the helm for four years. Its members, Sami Zayn, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Reigns, no longer operate as a faction. However, they came together at the 2024 Survivor Series to fight Solo Sikoa’s New Bloodline.

Sikoa’s MFTs are on SmakcDown right now and are feuding with The Wyatt Sicks. However, RAW still has The Vision running rampant, and Bronson Reed has defeated the Tribal Chief multiple times. Thus, the heel faction could be a force that could make The Bloodline come together again.

Roman Reigns is looking for another WWE World Title reign

While Bully Ray wants The Bloodline to come together, Roman Reigns is apparently on the hunt for another world championship in WWE. As reported by Ibou of Self Made Pro on a livestream, Sami Zayn was on his way to win the 2026 Royal Rumble, which will be held in Saudi Arabia.

This was why the Canadian wrestler got into a feud with The Vision from the get-go. Triple H was planning to make him headline WrestleMania 42 and defeat Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship.

However, Roman Reigns crumbled those plans by letting management know he was willing to put more time into WWE and was also looking for a world title.

“At some point in this year, he (Roman Reigns) decided, I’m actually not all in on the Hollywood thing, and I’m coming back to WWE, and I want a championship. I want to win the belt. Basically, I want Cody’s (Rhodes) seat; that’s basically what it was. The second he pretty much made that clear to the promotion, they scrapped that whole Sami Zayn sh** because Sami Zayn was going to be the guy to win the Royal Rumble in Saudi and face Seth Rollins for the championship. That was the long-term plan for that whole thing, that whole saga with The Vision.”

Thus, Sami Zayn’s first-ever world title was scrapped because of the OTC. So far, it isn’t clear which world champion The Head of the Table will take on, as he issued an open-ended warning to both CM Punk and Cody Rhodes ahead of the 2025 Survivor Series. It would be interesting to see what lies ahead for The Bloodline’s members in WWE.
