For the uninformed, Fortnite announced a Simpsons-themed mini-season set in The Simpsons' hometown of Springfield. The crossover, which went live on November 1, 2025, now allows gamers to utilize skins of iconic Simpsons characters, including Homer, Marge, Lisa, and Bart Simpson.

Meanwhile, the ongoing animated sitcom referenced the crossover during its latest episode, titled Bad Boys... For Life?, which aired on November 2, 2025. Several Fortnite characters appeared during the show's ongoing couch gag, which is a running visual joke that varies from episode to episode.

The gag begins with Fortnite characters, including Peely (an anthropomorphic banana character), sitting on the couch as the Simpsons run up to them holding ray guns. Most of the characters, except for Peely, run away. The next shot shows the family eating ice cream from Peely, seemingly like a banana split.

The couch gag was met with varied responses from netizens on X, with one user exclaiming in horror at what the show did to Peely.

According to IGN, Fortnite's The Simpsons mini-season will be live from November 1 to November 29, 2025. The mini-season began with an in-game event titled Welcome, Our Alien Overlords, on November 1. Fortnite's The Simpsons-themed Battle Pass includes a Peels Sidekick, 100 V-bucks, and Hairy Situation Wrap, among others.

Completing all 50 rounds of Battle Pass will unlock the bonus rewards such as Peels Sidekick Variant and I Am Evil Homer Emote, among others. Additionally, the Battle Royale map includes nine major locations, such as:

• Springfield Nuclear Power Plant
• Cletus' Corn Hole
• Kamp Krusty
• Burns Manor
• Springfield Town Square
• Mayor's Munchies
• Donut District
• Evergreen Terrace
• Springfield Slurpworks

The mini-season has three bosses with their accompanying loot pool and unique locations. Evil Homer, one of the villains, has the Enhanced Tactical Shotgun as his loot and can be found at Springfield Town Square.

The second villain, Witch Marge, has the Enhanced Compact SMG as her loot and is located at Predator Peak Overlook. Meanwhile, the third villain, Krusty the Clown, can be found at Kamp Krusty, and his loot is Krusty's Mr. Blasty.

The mini-season also has 12 Hidden Gags to help gamers increase their XP. Gamers can also earn a Milestone Quest and 20,000 XP if they complete all 12 gags, which include:

2. Find Mr. Sparkle - 5,000 XP
3. Father a Steamed Ham - 5,000 XP
4. Knock the Jedediah Springfield statue's head off - 5,000 XP
