The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays played out a World Series for the ages earlier this month with the NL West team taking home the title after a thrilling win in Game 7.

The back-and-forth action between the two MLB teams caught the attention of several current and former NFL players. Three-time MVP Brett Favre talked about the recently concluded Fall Classic, comparing it to the thrilling Super Bowl LII between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots.

"Maybe Philly and Patriots, you know, where Doug Pederson called the Philly play, they basically won on that play. But it was touch-and-go for both teams the entire game.

"Honestly, watching this series, you know, I said that I felt the Dodgers will win. They did win, but the Blue Jays could have won easily, and in their minds, probably should have won. So it was never let your guard down, 'relax, my Dodgers or my Blue Jays are gonna walk away with it,' it was never that for the fan base."
