The Charlotte Hornets secured a solid campaign, as they secured a winning campaign with their 42nd victory of the season on Friday. They beat the Indiana Pacers 129-108 on the back of a great, well-rounded night from the Hornets.
Brandon Miller scored a team-high 22 points, but he made sure to highlight how well LaMelo Ball played. The franchise point guard continues to shine with his offensive contributions, especially with his playmaking.
Brandon Miller highlights LaMelo Ball's playmaking chops
The Hornets are one of the most exciting teams to watch in the league. With head coach Charles Lee encouraging his team to stand out on offense, it is evident that the players are enjoying themselves.
They have Ball leading the charge on offense, who is one of the flashiest players around. Outside his flair, Ball does play an effective brand of basketball. This was criticized in the past, but it is now working out for the Hornets this season.

Ball has always been a talented player, but he never had the supporting cast like he has today. Now that he has Miller and Kon Knueppel joining him as franchise cornerstones, the team looks much better as they look to compete.
"He's been a playmaker my entire career. He draws a lot of attention just from who he is, so teams gotta respect the step-back threes. That just opened up his entire game. Him being a playmaker for us is what's been getting us through," Miller said about Ball's impact on the court.
As the Hornets continue to embark on their rise to the top, they will be reliant on Ball's playmaking. With how he is playing and how his teammates love playing alongside him, they appear to be in a good spot for the long-term future.
