Austin Reaves had a priceless reaction to throwing his first lob to LeBron James' son, Bronny James. The LA Lakers secured a 130-120 win against the Miami Heat on Sunday. With less than two minutes left on the clock, Jake LaRavia turned the ball over for the Purple and Gold.

He passed the rock to a blitzing Reaves, who then lobbed it up near the rim for Bronny James to finish. LeBron James' son slammed the ball hard in the basket, giving the fans a nostalgic reminder of his father's first few seasons in the league.

After securing the win, AR15 participated in a brief locker room interview where he expressed his thoughts on lobbing the ball to Bronny James.

"I've gotta be the first person in NBA history to throw a father a lob and a son a lob. It's gotta be right?" Reaves said. "While they are on the same team, y'all wanna do these damn statistics, well I wanna do it too."

Bronny James had a decent showing against the Heat. He scored two-points, gave out two-assists and made three successful steals. Austin Reaves, on the other hand, continued his stellar form. He ended the night with 26-points, four-rebounds and 11-assists.

Former NBA player turned analyst, Kendrick Perkins, announced Luka Dončić and Austin Reaves as the best basketball duo in the world right now. On Sunday, Perkins expressed his thoughts on the Lakers duo on his X account.

"I think it’s safe to say that Luka and Reaves are the Best Duo in Basketball right now," Perkins tweeted.

Doncic and Reaves have arguably been the best backcourt duo in the league right now. Their games are highly compatible with each other as both of them can run the offense and draw in defenders now, creating good looks for their teammates.

Both guards can create their own shot, are lethal from all three levels on the court, and can take over games in the final quarter. Austin Reaves has proved his worth on the team as a star in the making in the past few games. He carried the Lakers in three games without LeBron James or Doncic.

Doncic and Reaves play incredibly well off one another. However, this dynamic can be disturbed when King James makes his return to the court. James is currently out with a sciatica injury.
