The Chicago Bulls picked up their third straight win of the 2025-2026 season on Monday, defeating the Atlanta Hawks 128–123 on Monday. The clash between the two Eastern Conference teams was packed with action, featuring 15 lead changes, seven ties, and plenty of highlight moments. But what really caught fans’ attention came from the broadcast booth, when an announcer made a slip-up involving Josh Giddey.
Adam Amin accidentally said “Diddy” instead of “Giddey” while calling a play early in the final period.
“(Dyson) Daniels tipped that to Diddy… Giddey,” Amin said.•

Josh Giddey reveals mindset following contract extension
Josh Giddey and the Chicago Bulls spent the majority of the offseason trying to find common ground on a contract extension. After constant back and forth, they finally reached an agreement worth $100 million over four years.
For Giddey, the extension meant more than just the financial benefits. It was about feeling valued and wanted by the organization.
“It is a good feeling because you know you're wanted and you know you're locked in for a long time,” Giddey said in the postgame interview. “So having that kind of contract weigh on you for three, four years coming out of a rookie extension, to have that off my back is a good feeling. So I'm happy here, I love being here, love the group of guys I get to play with every night and I'm excited for the next, this season and then the next four years after that.”So far, he’s making that investment look worthwhile. Giddey has played a crucial role in Chicago’s perfect 3-0 start, averaging 19.3 points, 8.7 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 1.4 stocks (steals + blocks) per game.
