"Always there to make the opponent win", "Terminate his contract" - Fans slam Cristiano Ronaldo's teammate as Al-Nassr lose to Al-Ittihad

Al-Nassr fans on X have blasted Cristiano Ronaldo's teammate, Bento Krepski, after he had a poor performance in goal during their 2-1 loss against 10-man Al-Ittihad. The Knights of Najd were knocked out of the King's Cup of Champions following their Round of 16 clash at Al-Awwal Park on Tuesday, October 28.

Former Real Madrid superstar Karim Benzema found the bottom-left corner with a tidy finish, beating Bento at his near post, to break the deadlock in the 15th minute. Angelo Gabriel leveled the scores 15 minutes later with a thunderous effort into the top corner. However, Houssem Aouar took full advantage of Bento's poor positioning to help Al-Ittihad regain their advantage (45+2').

Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr were handed a massive advantage in the 49th minute after Ahmed Al-Julaydan was sent off following a clumsy challenge. However, the visitors defended well to ensure they progressed to the quarter-finals.

Jorge Jesus opted to start Bento in goal ahead of Nawaf Al-Aqidi and Raghed Al-Najjar. However, the Brazilian was unable to justify the former's decision as he looked unconvincing in goal. His performance came weeks after he notably failed to save a single penalty during Al-Nassr's loss to Al-Ahli in the Saudi Super Cup final (August 23).

One Cristiano Ronaldo fan posted:

"Terminate Bento’s contract"

Cristiano Ronaldo has impressed for Al-Nassr this season, scoring seven goals and providing two assists in nine appearances across all competitions. However, the 40-year-old struggled against Al-Ittihad, receiving a match rating of 6.4.

Ronaldo played all 90 minutes, completing 19 passes from an attempted 23 (83 percent accuracy). He created one chance, landed one shot on target from five attempts (20 percent accuracy), delivered zero accurate crosses, and completed zero dribbles.
