Jordan Chiles recently shared her thoughts on facing criticism from the jury panel at the 34th season of the dance reality show Dancing with the Stars. The 24-year-old gymnast has teamed up with choreographer Ezra Sosa for the current season.

On Halloween night, Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa performed an impressive contemporary routine on the song 'Elastic Heart' by Sia. They received an above-average score of 34 out of 40 before joining the Hustle & Lindy Hop Marathon, for which the dancing duo received 4 out of 5 points.

In an exclusive interview with E! News just after Halloween night, Chiles revealed how she took each criticism in her stride. Chiles mentioned,

"Look, we're on a reality TV show and we can't control the narrative of what people are trying to put out there. We can only control what we're doing and that is being able to give our all each single time we step onto the dance floor Now can we or are we going to say 100? We?Yeah, it kind of hit us. But you know, we're just going to take what they said and put it into next week and just show and be like look, we're here, we're still here , we're still shining and we're not going to take what, last week or the week before, and let it tear us down."

Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa have made it to the next round. The dancing duo is now preparing for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night, which will be broadcast on November 4 on the ABC channel.

Jordan Chiles' dance partner Ezra Sosa previously defended the gymnast over the mean girl controversy. For the uninitiated, the gymnast was accused of being allegedly rude towards her dance partner.

Jordan Chiles issued a statement on her Instagram story, calling out the rumours against her, and revealing that all was well. Ezra Sosa backed her through his own Instagram story, where he wrote,

"Having her [Jordan] as my partner has genuinely changed my life in the best ways. seeing comments that paint a different picture hurts, because it's not a reflection of our bond at all. What we share is something i'll always stand up for. I'm so grateful for you @jordanchiles you don't even know."

Ezra Sosa previously defended Jordan Chiles when questioned over the height differences between the two contestants. Jordan Chiles aims to be the third gymnast to win the coveted mirrorball trophy, given to the winner of the Dancing with the Stars reality show.
