Grow a Garden is an incremental tycoon-simulation title developed by The Garden Game. This Roblox experience engages players in farming exclusive and exotic plants that can be sold for cash. Developers have consistently added events and updates that not only make improvements but also bring new features and items to the title.
With Update 1.33.1 titled Trader Event, Grow a Garden has added seven new and unique pets. Here are all the pets added with the Trader Event.
All new pets in the Trader Event

Pets introduced in the time-limited events have some of the best Passives, which even critters from rare Eggs don't possess. The Trader Event has introduced seven new pets:

| Clam | Uncommon | Watering Cans might replenish on use. |
| Magpie | Legendary | The Magpie will grant you rewards for selling fruits with the silver mutation. |
| Silver Piggy | Legendary | Boosts nearby plant growth depending on the number of Silver Ingots in your garden. |
| Golden Piggy | Mythical | Boosts XP gain for all pets depending on the amount of Gold Ingots in your garden. |
| Pack Mule | Mythical | Adds to the Base Weight of any pets that you craft while this pet is active in your garden. |
| Bearded Dragon | Divine | Will eat all crops on a Divine+ rarity plant in your garden and give you one free egg from the default Egg Shop. |
| Chimera | Divine | Gives you the abilities of the Emerald Snake, the Lion, and the Goat pet with a bonus. |

How to get the new pets in Grow a Garden
Pets in the Gem Chest (Image via Roblox)Obtaining the new seven pets can be tricky to understand. Follow the instructions below to get all seven from the Trader Event.
- Clam: To get this Uncommon pet, get your hands on the Gem Chest. You have a 34.5% hatch chance to get the Clam from this chest.
- Magpie: This critter can also be obtained from the Gem Chest. You have a 14.5% chance of getting this Legendary critter.
- Silver Piggy: You must craft to get this critter. You will need a Pig, a Sushi food item, a Lightning Rod, and a Medium Toy to craft a Silver Piggy.
- Golden Piggy: You will need to craft this mythical pet using a Silver Piggy, 1 Spaghetti, 1 Tanning Mirror, and a Medium Treat.
- Pack Mule: You can get this pet from Trader Rewards during the event.
- Bearded Dragon: This pet has a 1% chance to drop from the Gem Chest.
- Chimera: Use the Chimera Stone on an Emerald Snake, a Goat, and a Lion pet to get this Divine-tier pet.
