AJ Dybantsa entered the 2025-26 college basketball season as one of the best freshmen in the country, and he proved that with BYU throughout the year.

As part of being such a high-profile college athlete, Dybantsa has the luxury of being a part of lucrative NIL deals. Dybantsa, specifically, has taken advantage of being such a big name in high school, as it allowed him to become one of the highest-paid college athletes in the country.

Here's a look at Dybantsa's NIL deals this year.

AJ Dybantsa NIL money

Dybantsa has one of the biggest NIL deals in college basketball, as BYU gave him $5 million, according to CBS Sports, with North Carolina and Alabama also reportedly matching that asking price. Additionally, Adam Zagoria reported that Dybantsa's deal is worth around $7 million.

However, Dybantsa's NIL money goes beyond his deal with BYU, as he has partnerships with several popular brands. Dybantsa said that he's meticulous with his NIL deals, only agreeing to deals with the right companies.

"Me and my family really just take time with these deals we get," Dybantsa said, via The Athletic, after signing a deal with Fanatics. "We don’t just go for any brand. It's kind of more than just the brand itself. It's kind of who's running it, who's behind it. We're big family people, so how the brand is like a family connection, and we think we met those standards with Omar (Wilkes, head of athlete partnerships for Fanatics Collectibles) and Michael (Rubin, Fanatics CEO)."

Nike

Nike was one of Dybantsa's first NIL deals, as the two sides agreed to a deal all the way back in January of 2024. Nike announced the deal alongside its agreement with Jerzy Robinson, a women's basketball recruit in the class of 2026.

"Joining the Nike basketball family is huge," Dybantsa siad in 2024, via Boardroom. "When I was asked, it was a no-brainer."

Dybantsa added that he was excited to join the brand of so many players that he grew up watching.

"Growing up, watching people that inspired me wear Nike — to now being part of the same team is an opportunity I don't take for granted," he said. "I can't wait to see what we can mix up on and off the court."

Red Bull

Dybantsa's most prominent NIL deal is with Red Bull. The two sides agreed to a deal in October of 2024, and Red Bull has not been shy about incorporating Dybantsa into their marketing campaigns.

"I think it'll be a great partnership because it'll be beneficial to both of us with the platform that they have," Dybantsa said on 'The Youngins Podcast,' via Adam Zagoria. “I think we fit right in with each other, so it’s going to be special.”

Dybantsa typically has a Red Bull present during  press conferences but he was asked to remove it after a Big 12 tournament win. That didn't stop him from promoting the product, though.

AJ Dybantsa was asked to remove his Red Bull from the podium during the postgame press conference after BYU's win over Kansas State in the Big 12 Tournament.

Later in the presser, @alec_busse asked a funny question that led AJ to drop a "Red Bull gives you wings" quote.😂 pic.twitter.com/uyQBJw8ti1

Fanatics

In 2025, Dybantsa signed a reported eight-figure NIL deal with Fanatics and Fanatics collectables, which Fanatics described as "most significant NIL deals ever." Dybantsa's deal focuses on trading cards and memorabilia, which includes autographs, game-used jerseys and inscriptions. Additionally, the deal allows Dybantsa to be a part of brand marketing campaigns.
