A popular 30-year-old wrestler recently officially confirmed their retirement from professional wrestling. A recent report has shed light on their future plans. The name in question is Missa Kate.

According to the Cage Match database, Missa Kate kickstarted her professional wrestling career in 2018, and her debut match was against former WWE Superstar Shotzi at CSW Proud of Power. However, after only seven years of in-ring competition, the 30-year-old wrestler decided to hang up her boots following her last Career vs. Career Match against Steve Boz at CSW In Cold Blood on December 12, 2025.

The 30-year-old wrestler officially confirmed her retirement in an Instagram post

After her final wrestling match, Missa Kate took to Instagram to send an emotional message. She revealed that when she started wrestling, she promised herself that she would retire after turning 30, no matter where she was in her career.

The star also mentioned that her retirement was "poetically beautiful" as her last match happened a day before her idol, John Cena's retirement match against Gunther at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13.

"Dear Wrestling World, How do I start this.... Tonight was my last wrestling match. Not just with CSW but across the board. I made a promise to myself when I first started wrestling that no matter where I was with wrestling, at 30 years old I would be done. There is sooo much more to the story, but I'm just going to end with that. There's something so poetically beautiful of @johncena being the first match I've ever seen, & then being able to retire from wrestling the day before he does. It's almost like God planned it. Who'd a thunk it," she wrote.

Kate also thanked her fans who supported her throughout the years, mentioning that she would miss them a lot.
