Ricochet joined AEW in 2024. He is one of the biggest names in the Jacksonville-based promotion and is currently a heel. Furthermore, he is the reigning AEW National Champion and the leader of the Demand. This faction, apart from him, consists of Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona.
The Lightskin Kingpin became the AEW National Champion at Full Gear 2025 by winning a 12-man Casino Gauntlet match. Jack Perry unsuccessfully challenged him for the title on this week's Dynamite.
Perry vs Ricochet was a good match, but it had interferences by Kaun and Liona. The Scapegoat's tag team partner, Luchasaurus, was also brutally assaulted by the two heel wrestlers during this showdown.
The Human Highlight Reel recently shared the clip of the attack on the 40-year-old on his Instagram story. He mocked the masked star and gave the former World Tag Team Champions a new name: Jurassic Depressed.

The Demand consists of Ricochet (leader) and Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona. This faction is getting stronger by the day, and it seems like good things will happen to them in 2026.
In a recent interview with TheSportster, the Lightskin Kingpit put his teammates over. He said that he knew that Kaun and Liona were serious competitors even before he joined the Jacksonville-based company.
"I wasn't even there at the time, but that's when I knew these guys were smart. And then when I knew these guys were dangerous is when they were taking on The Hurt Syndicate. They were taking on The Hurt Syndicate, and I saw that they were dangerous. I saw that they had that killer's edge. I saw that they had it within them. I knew those were two guys that not only do I feel comfortable having by my side, but I know that they will also at the same time, they feel comfortable with me," he said.Ricochet has the potential to be the AEW World Champion someday. Only time will tell what the future holds for him.
