Fans might be able to stay on a cruise ship while enjoying the 2027 Ryder Cup. The upcoming edition of the prestigious tournament will take place at Adare Manor Golf Club in Ireland and is expected to draw around 200,000 fans.

As reported by The Times, the officials have come up with a possible solution to manage the big crowds; people can stay in rooms on cruise ships. Reportedly, the cruise ships would be available at the Foynes Point docks, and people can stay there during the Ryder Cup. From there, trains would be available to the golf course.

The 2025 edition of the Ryder Cup was held in New York at the Bethpage Black Course. In the three-day tournament, Team Europe, while playing on foreign soil, dominated and registered a two-point win.

From their team, Tommy Fleetwood had the maximum score as he added four points to help the team retain their title. The European team is in contention for making a victory hat trick, and it will be interesting to see them play on their home soil.

Ryder Cup has returned to Ireland since 2006

The last time the Ryder Cup was held in Ireland was in 2006. However, that time it was held at the K Club, County Kildare. The European team was impressive back then and won on home soil.

Adare Manor has previously hosted the Irish Open but is now looking forward to the Ryder Cup in 2027.
