The 2025 BWF Korea Masters is right around the corner. The Super 300 is scheduled to take place between November 4 and 9 in Jeonbuk State, and it promises some intriguing badminton action.

India will feature a small contingent at the event. With the likes of Lakshya Sen, HS Prannoy, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty opting to sit this one out, the tournament will be the perfect stage for rising stars to make their mark.

On the men's singles end of things, Sankar Muthusamy is the sole Indian shuttler competing in Korea. Muthusamy has delivered some promising performances in recent months. He was last seen in action at the Hylo Open, where he downed World No.22 Leong Jun Hao in his opening round match before falling short against Sen in his prequarterfinals encounter.

At the upcoming Super 300, Muthusamy has been handed a tricky draw. The Indian will go up against World No.26 and top seed Jia Heng Jason Teh for his first round match. If he manages to battle past Teh, he will likely run into Olympic medalist Anthony Sinisuka Ginting in the quarterfinals.

Rounding out India's team at the Korea Masters will be Isharani Baruah and Devika Sihag. The women's singles shuttlers have a relatively uncomplicated draw ahead of them and it remains to be seen if they can make a dash to the podium.
