BREAKING: Beloved WWE Legend Finally Returning To RAW As Report Breaks Seconds Before Show

A WWE legend has finally returned and it's going to happen on RAW. This comes after a report broke the news seconds before the show.

Rey Mysterio's WWE return is finally happening

Rey Mysterio has been gone from the company's programming ever since the week before WrestleMania when he was left injured. The star suffered a legitimate torn groin as well as a ruptured eardrum during a six-man tag team match with him teaming with LWO to face American Made. He was not able to compete at WrestleMania as a result, and was replaced by Rey Fenix.

The star had to go through surgery as well, and the expectation was that he would finally return before the end of the year. That seems to be exactly what is happening, as seconds before RAW went on the air, WrestleVotes has now reports that Mysterio is going to be at tonight's episode of RAW. He is backstage tonight and the report stated that all the signs pointed to him appearing on the program as well.

Rey Mysterio has made other appearances during his WWE absence

While the beloved legend has not made an appearance for WWE, the star has been a critical part of the company's venture into Mexican wrestling. He has been on AAA shows to make announcements as well as to greet the crowd.

He has not wrestled or featured in any storylines as such, but he was there to induct Konnan into the AAA Hall of Fame at TripleMania XXXIII.

Now, it remains to be seen what happens when he comes back to RAW, and whether he immediately gets involved with his son, Dominik Mysterio or not. The show should determine his role for the coming weeks and months.

There should also be more clarity on if he can wrestle again.
