A former WWE star expressed a desire to rejoin AEW after exiting the company in 2022. Former NXT Tag Team Champion Bobby Fish has been one of the four members of the Undisputed Era of the black and gold brand. After the rest of the members signed with the Jacksonville-based promotion, he, too, was hired in 2021.
Many were excited to see the Undisputed Era reunite in AEW, but that story fell flat. After failing to achieve anything, the 49-year-old star decided not to sign a new contract and left the promotion after one year in 2022. He is currently wrestling in MLW and other major independent promotions.
While speaking with Two Man Power Trip, Bobby Fish claimed that he is still open to returning to AEW, but he hasn't made any contact with anyone. He talks about a potential reunion with Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong if he returns to the company.
“I have not spoken to them. I don’t rule out anything with AEW or anyone else. This is still the best way for me to earn a living — making the most money in the least amount of time — and I’m grateful, by the grace of God, that my body is still allowing me to do this. So as long as that’s the case, I’m open. If my dance card allows me to do it, I don’t rule anything out. It’s pro wrestling — you never say never. Especially with Roddy and Kyle there now," he said.
